AI Video Character Consistency Guide

Character consistency is easier when identity is described as a fixed production constraint instead of being rewritten differently in every scene.

Lock identity separately

Keep a reusable identity description: age range, face/hair traits, wardrobe, accessories and any reference-image relationship. Do not rewrite those details differently in every shot.

Motion instructions should describe what the person does; identity instructions should describe what must not change.

Continuity anchors

  • Face and hair
  • Wardrobe and accessories
  • Body proportions
  • Lighting direction
  • Screen position and travel direction
