AI Video Negative Prompt Guide
Negative instructions are most useful when they protect continuity and motion quality. The goal is not to list every possible defect, but to prevent the failures most likely to break the shot.
What to protect
- Identity: face, clothing, product geometry and defining features.
- Temporal stability: avoid flicker, sudden material changes and background resets.
- Motion quality: avoid impossible limb motion, sliding feet and abrupt camera jumps.
- Text: avoid generated text or logos inside footage unless the model/workflow requires it.
Compact negative block
Avoid identity drift, geometry warping, extra limbs, flicker, sudden lighting changes, background resets, unreadable text, random camera jumps and physically impossible motion.
